Hi, I’m Kaya—pronounced Kai-Ya, like splitting a block of wood (I promise, it sticks). I’m a graphic designer from the South Side of Chicago with a love for bold creativity and visuals that spark connection. My work spans design, illustration, and video production, all with one goal: to make something that feels alive, engaging, and a little magical.

Currently, I’m bringing the magic as an Assistant Graphic Design Intern at Disney’s Hulu Viewer Experience Communication, where I specialize as a knowledge architect creating visuals that resonate with reach our VXAs and agents while staying  true to iconic brand standards. I graduated with my bachelors in art, Illustration, and design at Columbia College Chicago.  I’m also an Art Direction alumni at Book180, always growing, always learning.

Outside of design, I’m fueled by bubble tea adventures (Thai Milk Tea is the ultimate favorite, but I’ll take a Matcha risk now and then). Oh, and my cats—they’re wild, quirky, and 100% waiting for their big break.
